"Jyukkoku Touge" has been a place where people have gathered since the Edo period to view Mt. Fuji.
It takes about 5 minutes to climb by cable car, and since there are no high mountains around, you can see 10 countries from the top, hence the name "Jyukkoku Touge".
The name of the country comes from the fact that it could overlook ten countries: Izu, Suruga, Totomi, Kai, Shinano, Sagami, Musashi, Kazusa, Shimousa, and Awa.
At the "Tengoku cafe" at the top, you can enjoy sweets while taking in the view.
Enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, and Sagami Bay from Atami, and enjoy the highest Mt. Fuji in Japan.

The cable car departs every 15 minutes and reaches the top in about 3 minutes.
