In Atami City, jacarandas, one of the world's three major flowering trees that are distributed mainly in tropical regions, are planted from the Jacaranda Boardwalk to the water park, where they bloom with blue-purple flowers in early summer.
During the ATAMI Jacaranda Festival, the promenade is lit up and you can enjoy the flowers even at night.
Additionally, if you visit one of Atami's seven hot springs and get a stamp, the first 500 people will receive bath salts as a gift.
At the same time, the bougainvillea along the Itokawa promenade will also be illuminated, allowing you to enjoy a beautiful display of flowers.
